Jason C. Amerine

Jason was born in Kansas City and graduated from Center High School. He attended Missouri State University where he received a B.S. in Marketing with an emphasis in Sales. Jason graduated from the University of Missouri — KC School of Law. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association; is licensed to practice in the Federal Courts of Missouri and Kansas; and is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Commercial Law Committee. Jason practices in the areas of consumer bankruptcy and personal injury. He is married and has one child.

Kimberly S. Athie

Kimberly S. Athie grew up in central Missouri. She graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. in Computer Science. Kimberly received her Juris Doctorate in 2003 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Kimberly is a member of the Missouri Bar and is licensed to practice in the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas Federal Courts. Prior to joining Castle Law Office in February 2008 Kimberly had worked as a staff attorney for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for almost five years. Kimberly practices exclusively in the area of consumer bankruptcy. She is married and has two children.

Andrew C. Schendel

Andrew was born in Shawnee Mission and graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School. He attended Michigan State University where he received a B.A. in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis in law. Andrew graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he participated in the Paul E. Wilson defender project, writing appeals for incarcerated clients. He is a member of the Kansas, Missouri, and Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Associations. Andrew is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Kansas and Missouri, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Andrew joined Castle Law Office in October, 2008 where his practice is focused on personal injury, workers' compensation, and employment litigation. Andrew is married and resides in Olathe, KS with his wife and daughter.

Ryan B. Patton

Ryan was born in eastern Kansas and graduated from Emporia High School. He attended the University of Kansas where he received a B.A. in History. Ryan received his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He is a member of the Missouri Bar and is licensed to practice in the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas Federal Courts. Ryan practices in the area of personal injury and consumer bankruptcy.

Michael was born and raised in Manhattan, Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University where he received a B.S. in Public Relations. Michael earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2010 with honors in Pro Bono and Public Service. He is a member of the Missouri Bar and practices in the area of consumer bankruptcy.

Brian Barjenbruch

Brian Barjenbruch has been a practicing attorney since 2002. Mr. Barjenbruch is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and has represented clients at the trial court and appellate court levels, and in arbitrations before the National Association of Securities Dealers (predecessor to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Barjenbruch has litigated and resolved dozens of cases, including claims for wrongful termination, employment discrimination, employment contracts, fraud, breach of contract, personal injury, worker's compensation and shareholder liability. Mr. Barjenbruch has won judgments for plaintiffs in trial court and defended those judgments to appellate courts.

Mr. Barjenbruch has successfully appealed and defended appeals in Missouri state courts and before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Barjenbruch has been involved in drafting dozens of briefs to be presented in appellate courts in Missouri, Kansas, North Carolina, Florida and the District of Columbia. Brian joined Castle Law Office in 2011 where his practice is focused on personal injury litigation.
